John Heartfield. The German anti-Nazi, anti-fascist photomontage artist, who pioneered art as a weapon was creating his work in 1930s Germany, under the shadow of the Third Reich. He was number 5 on the Gestapo's 'most wanted list' and only just managed to escape with his life to what was then Czechoslovakia. A personal hero of Cold War Steve, who feels that we now need John Heartfield, more than any time since the Second World War.

This calendar is the artists homage to John Heartfield, in the age of Trump, Putin, Musk, Farage et al, as the spectre of fascism once again stalks our lands like a fuck-off demented hyena.
